The Washington Post is covering the fate of several bills currently before Congress that would result in a pay cut for Congressmen, Senators, and with some, even the President and Vice President. While Congress has gone without a pay raise since 2008 (which according to Washington's messed-up budgetary principles is already a "pay cut"), there does not seem to be a large amount of support for cutting salaries. However, as the article states, "All those bills have one thing in common — none has gone anywhere."
