Despite a loss of 1.6 million jobs in the past 3 years, Harry Reid said on the Senate floor yesterday, "private sector jobs have been doing just fine." Even over the last two months, the private sector has created only 179,000 jobs.
I am left to assume that Harry Reid will vote against any bill designed to encourage hiring in the private sector, since by his own admission, it is "doing just fine." However, I'm certainly not holding my breath on that assumption.
